i running ubuntu on toshiba satellite l355d, , still having problem overheating. believe have traced possible cause fan control. appears fan spins if there sharp increase in temperature. if temperature increases slowly, fan seems not react or react unreliably. downloaded acpitool toshiba, , telling me make sure have acpi support in kernel enabled. how go doing that? that seems bad fan. fan should start running when temp hits point, regardless of whether happens gradually or instantaneous. i have been working on "new" machine couple days now, @ first going install chromium when didn't work figured i'd settle latest ubuntu distro. have sandisk cruzer 8 gb tried install ubuntu on. goal boot , install fresh partition made. got little taste of murphey's law , when booted on dell dimension 4600c (yes know old.) "operating system not found." installed using unetbootin , can see files on drive windows 8 know worked. tried again anyways. same results. know drive okay because installed windows 8 it. gives?! just because see files on usb not mean worked. sounds if bootloader not installed correctly unetbootin. had serveral of these problems unetbootin in past. sure downloaded is ok, did verify checksum of iso? if have chance, create livecd , see if boots. cannot view pdfs on web using explorer 11 , adobe reader x version 10.1.8 first, performed repair reader function instructed. secondly, followed instructions internet explorer (windows) : 1. select tools > manage add-ons. (or choose tools > internet options, click programs tab, click manage add-ons.) 2. in show pop-up menu, select add-ons. hi, trying install ubuntu 12.04 32 bit onto relatively old computer (2.6ghz pentium d, 1 gig ram) problem facing hard disk (80 gb - sata, no ahci) isn't getting detected properly. reason why mention "detected properly" that, if live boot, can see 80 gb unused in disk utility, cannot format (as stays busy forever). regard installer(fyi, installing through usb), says have enough space (looking @ 80 gig hdd suppose), , lets me proceed till partition screen - @ point shows 2 gig usb flash drive option, , once come first screen, no longer shows tick mark on space available (now says dont have enough space). after installation fails, disk util no longer shows 80 gb hdd, instead shows /dev/sda (the 80 gig volume in hdd is/supposed on /dev/sda1) gparted refreshes forever, , fdisk -l stalls. sorry if have posted in wrong area, or if problem has been solved earlier (none of them match or blind) - please guide me appropriately and/or move thread app

i worked out how eyes on last question have eyes 1 @ time  , got 1 done , rendered file.  imported again rendered file wrok on again. when tried render file turned out still instead of .mov. why?  settings should use?   or if track 1 eye, go next eye , track messes first tracking , can't both eyes in 1 render, there can suggest here.  layers in wronf order?   i send screen shot.   on there need liquify teeth after make fangs , requires tracking again messes upo previous tracking.  you can have many trackers on footage layer like.  make sure create new tracker each pass, , create new nulls target layers if that's how you're working.   you can each tracking pass in seperate comp, if makes things easier, paste final results master comp when you're ready render. i noticed passwords , keys logging passwords online. including banking , credit card accounts. plus easy way see sites i'm visiting. program needed proper operation or can delete it. don't computer save passwords...log in names aren't big deal...but not passwords. thing ubuntu have taken issue with. use keepassx store passwords easy access , memory..but requires master password open. can password protect passwords , keys also? you should rather disable password saving feature of whatever web browser using - i'll happily presume it's either chromium or chrome; firefox doesn't support gnome keyring in first place, sadly - instead of blaming underlying os providing framework save info in safely encrypted , password-protected way. regards. hi! please me, i'm getting desperate!   i have valid creative cloud teams account. still acrobat xi pro claims evaluation period over, , asks licence number. quite annoying! have tried advices here in forums:   - reinstalled acrobat. - updated acrobat latest version. - signed out other cc application, signed in again acrobat.   ...but problem returns every time. way, cc installed on clean win 7 installation, there should no traces earlier versions of adobe software.   i have read many forum messages on subject, adobe should address problem immediately. not getting paying for, long applications in cc don't work.   h. kleppe there different procedures installation of acrobat under cc , not familiar them. several folks have been asking recently. best ask in cc forum.
