Thread: Installing on 4GB SSD


i trying install latest version of lubuntu (12.04) on dell mini (model # pp39s) , having problems regarding drive space.

netbook contains 4gb ssd, according installer, need minimum of 4.4gb, , can't continue there. did research , seems check bit higher necessary. noticed 11.04 version, produced instructions on how manually edit disk size limit changing variable in text file. seems method no longer applies in 12.04 version.

can me installed? in advance.

if 1 can install lubuntu on 4 gb flash drive, 1 can install on 4 gb ssd. see site guidance,

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
