hi all, i know has have come before, , memory has tingle thought i'd done in past, can't seem remember or find now.   basicly, inserting multiple clips project window timeline , stacking on different tracks (vertically) instead of head tail. ok gonna end answering own question , after playing around found way of doing it.   select files want insert right click , select create multicam sync via start unless want try , audio sync them (i use plural eyes 3) create sequence multicam ctrl double click multicam   this gives sequence files on seperate tracks, if don't want/need multicam particular project cut , past new sequence use plural sync vid audio, otherwise sync in multicam , im ready go.   although works, there should easier way, shift + ctrl while dropping on timeline ... feature request !   ps. read state not regularly needed funciton in premier .. dont know work doing need every single day ! so i'm trying install xubuntu alongside windows 7 on brand new laptop. default partitions unlabelled...? want xubuntu smaller, don't no which, webcam photo included clarification. they're both white boxes? do not resize windows installer!!! boot windows, open disk management , shrink windows partition as want allocate ubuntu. leave newly created space unallocated, not create ntfs partition windows. restart windows few times acknowledge shrink. after start xubuntu installer (boot cd) , should install automatically unallocated space left it. if want more specific setup, use manual partitioning doesn't sound it. in system settings, when specify want screen lock after 30 seconds (or whichever time specify) nothing happens after 30 seconds, or ever. way can work if allow screen turned off when inactive in "brightness" settings. if allow screen turn off, never turns on again , have forced restart power button(i have unanswered thread that). possible solutions? yes, can manually lock screen, that's poor solution because don't remember it, , feature worked fine on previous (pre-unity) versions of ubunutu. in adavance if can offer help, , nothing if thread goes unanswered last one. i experiencing same issue minus problem screen not turning on again. in case had disable automatic switch on display due bug ati , compiz. there way restore automatic lock?
