Thread: Tray icons unactive/ wrong working


hi,

have problem tray icons on ubuntu 11.04.

1. application icons - shadowed , inactive, e.g. when click on skype, thunderbird icon - nothing happens.

2. other icons - indicators never in state, theirs menu don't expand. icons looks clicked can't see menus.

hard if related each other, both cases happens when have virtualbox running and/or have connected second screen via vga. indicators - menus expand on second screen if not on first. application icons not visible on second screen.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
