hola, tengo un problema...al utilizar ubuntu 12.04 durante mas de 2 horas por ejemplo, cuando minimizo todas las ventanas me encuentro con un escritorio y el fondo pixelado. lo mismo sucede si tengo todas las ventanas minimizadas y cuando las abro y hay un video de youtube, se ve la ventana totalmente pixelada. otro problema que tengo y que quizá esté relacionado es que cuando utilizo blender 2.6x varias capas de colores escapan de la ventana de previsualización (donde se trabaja) y se mezclan con los menúes, por lo que me imposibilita ver los botones en algunas ocasiones. no me percatado si sucede lo mismo con las barras de menúes en los diferentes entornos de escritorio que tengo porque genralmente cuando sucede le hago alt.gr+sysrq+k y vuelvo empezar... so: ubuntu 12.04 (unity, cinnamon, cairo, xfce, en todos me sucede lo mismo) cpu: intel core 2 duo e4500 gráficos onboard 945g intel graphics ram: 2gb (667mhz) monitor: samsung syncmaster t260n 25

hello all. ever since upgraded 11.10 12.04 i've been having display problems. basic symptom display buffer appears corrupted. seems affect alt-tab display - instead of seeing little pictures of windows boxes windows have garbage in them, random text , messed images. after spreads status bar @ top of screen , windows - example, emacs have garbage text across top of window , inside buffer area. switching vt , x clear it, not. system lock , i'll have restart. far fix i've found running unity 2d, frankly that's not great @ all. feels second-class environment. i've tried upgrading nvidia drivers twice - first 304.37 304.43 yesterday, both times using nvidia's installer. before running 295.59. i'm updated running 3.2.0-29-generic kernel. machine thinkpad t510 dedicated gpu - nvs 3100m, aka gt218. don't see useful in x logs or in syslog, let me know if want see them anyway. help! sam

when scan document in 24-bit color or in true gray either adobe reader 10.1.4 or 11.0.4 gives me error message saying don't have permission write folder. happens no matter folder try write to. create file of pdf scan file won't open; error message says file damaged.   however if scan in b&w or in gray error diffusion works fine.   problem appeared suddently no apparent cause. you may want talk whomever makes scanning software. don't "scan" adobe reader. use open files after fact , sounds scanner software corrupting files. hey,   am trying test our latest app on ios6.1 via ios simulator.   problem don't seem able write disk.   we have several shared objects can't 'flush' plus, when try write file disk fault.   the app works fine on actual ios devices know our code correct.   has else experienced kind of issue?   i can't find documentation suggest can't write disk simulator bit stumped!   any ideas or advice appreciated!   thanks. i double checked, , games seem save sharedobject ok in simulator. don’t see anywhere can set read only.   one thing though, think user bug reports caused real devices failing flush ok. these days flush using try/catch approach, if save fails @ least app continue run:   try {    sharedobj.flush(); } catch (err) {    trace(err); }   that might see error was. i've gotten email today saying couldn't billed because details needed updating. checked , there's nothing wrong them; they're correct. re-entered them sure , same email couple hours later. there's nothing wrong debit card , happy charge before. of sudden can't charged , i'm going lose cc subscription because reason won't let me pay. don't understand. just got email saying it's been reactivated. don't know triggered it, here's hoping doesn't break again. hi! messed system, fixing complete reinstall original username "dad" primary user , restoring saved files. still gave me problems (such no menu) - created new user "mr_d" , moved files "dad" "mr_d," except configuration files. it's working great - first had give "mr_d" root privileges , change ownership of files "root" "mr_d." unfortunately, there glitches remaining -- such when install program, comes automatically "root" owner. there way can make "mr_d" root user instead of "dad" -- ? or if make them both "root," helpful. can see down road few years when new laptop or something, these permissions/ownerships goofed unless can replace "dad" "mr_d" primary user (or have 2 "roots") , let things owned "root." thoughts appreciated...this has cost me tons of time...

ter more 1 year using cs6 photoshop, asked fot serial number. after fill sai not using rigt number. in adobe same. after restarting cs6 again said using demoversion. how can things right use cs6 again? if cs6 not activated run 30 day trial version.  menu should show that.  cs6 running should have activate item not deactivate item in menu list of items.  make sure copied serial number adobe product cs6 correctly. , try use activate item in menu. should ask serial number.  if ir not take call adobe. i did clean install of apps, , 1 of new issues im having when downloaded prelude said installed missing patch, showed prelude has update. when try , update it, gives me error message stating cant update because file may corrupt. whats adobe? every since october releases types of bugs have been happening apps, including premiere pro , adobe media encoder. frustrating. hi -   sorry hear you're in trouble. i'd more information you.   1. i've seen in thread poster wanted know how remnove chrome while i'd rather have work. here's deal: wanted try out chrome on chromium, see if it's faster downloaded 64-bit .deb google website uninstalled chromium, make sure there'd no crossover double-clicked .deb , chrome installed through software center. success. called dash, typed "chr", chrome icon appeared, clicked on it waited. nothing happened. clicked again. ditto. fired shell, located chrome in /opt/google/chrome. went there. type ./google-chrome. got bash: permission denied. wut? ls -l, root root, 755 more or less, looks fine on permission side stumped in fact, no binary in directory launch. when type ./google- , hit tab key autocomplete work magig, doesn't. upper directories 755. mind you, /opt directory mount point secondary hd have. more things tried: sudo ./google-chrome. no result. no chrome process started. no entry in syslog. purged package through syn
