since updated windows 8, found .wmv files output slideshows abnormally end.  second last slide not dissolve last slide; movie ends superimposition of last slide on second last slide.  however, note movie time of .wmv file same time original slideshow.  work-around, have add black file (a picture of inside of lens cap) @ end of each slide show, when slideshow output .wmv file, have proper fade last file @ end of movie.  should not have this.  have on 2 different computers running windows 8; did not have on older computers running windows vista or windows 7.  on computers, running pse8.  else note this?  other fix suggest? i have been working in lr 5.2 normal performance, settings etc.  have not made changes in preferences, or different settings best of knowledge..  shutdown, without error message, include doing normal up.  today when opening lr opens should exception images in catalogue "grayed out".  in library module images there appropriate metadata showing, in grid mode, al lthe images gray squares proper naming , extension showing. in loupe mode same gray image appears.  in develop module, image there proper title , information include appropriate histogram in color, image black square.    all drop down menus there , seem working normally.  can open images in photoshop or bridge , appear normal appropriate color etc. best of knowledge, have not made changes within lr program.  first time problem.   have researched lr information , problems cannot seem find solution.  suggestions? sounds corrupt monitor profile. try setting profile srgb check, if restores images know need re-calibrate m

i've been tasked updating older project adding more selections menu, work nicely. i'm developing in director 12 on mac running 10.7.5. i've created both mac , windows version of projectors.   as background, given swfs have had nothing creation of them. same true director file, that's i'm updating , woes started.   the windows projector works fine. on simple timeline, user clicks button, jumping frame , calling upon swf play. frame has swf user has press main menu button (in director environment, not swf) return main menu.   in windows environment, works perfectly. swfs play -- can see , hear each 1 when selected.   in mac environment, can hear video. seems stage color of swf , nothing else seen. other functionality in mac environment works. don't see swf play.   now, here's kicker... on mac can see , hear swfs if play them in saflash player or in flash itself.   any thoughts? thanks. select swf member in cast - under property inspector - movie tab - flash

i have been using dw cs5 few years on 17" hp laptop windows 7. i got new computer on weekend.  it's 17" hp , running windows 8. the new computer has creative cloud version of dw.   the menu microscropic.  of them are.  start menu.  right side docked bars.  top menu.  'o' in common 2mm high.  also, actual document working on super tiny though says 100% (it looks me it's 70%).   i having same issue in fireworks.  acrobat fine.  programs have used far.   i believe settings resolution computer correct.    this problem bad have wear glasses though never have worn them when use laptop.   any ideas appreciated!! hi there,   i trying set business cards qr code on of each card. therefore have excel spreadsheet, contains data necessary business card name, function, e-mail adress,... data filled in automatically using standard function tags each column (e.g. table column name filled in <<name>> in specific location on business card , once executed matched data excel file).   is there me automate personalization of qr codes?   all best for free? not @ moment. cc have ability create qr codes 1 @ time. in cs6 (perhaps earlier versions?), regular poster/advanced scripter jongware devised script prepare qr code again, 1 @ time.   however, did build on jongware's qr code indesign file had necessary information in tagged text boxes , prepare qr codes accordingly. however, leave them in indesign file (e.g. not separate eps/pdfs).   so, long workaround be:   install script , read thread on adobe forums (jongware's qr code plus additional improvement): http://forums.adobe.com/message/

i filming interview using tascam dr-40 record sennheiser e835 wireless handheld mic. wasn't ideal situation, , had leave mic few feet away subjects being interviewed. , now, i'm dealing hiss common these kinds of audio recorders.   i'm using audition cc, , know how use hiss reduction tools available, had thought. have in-camera audio rode video mic using. i'm wondering if can use relatively hiss free (but echo) audio camera audible difference mask (in photoshop terms) map sound tascam. it's little crazy, i'm wondering if anyone's done or have way of trying it.   thanks! i've never tried wouldn't hopeful.  continue photoshop analogy, echo on camera feed makes recording equivalent blurry picture, not ideal "difference mask".   i'd give audition noise reduction try (and that's not typo...try noise reduction, not hiss reduction).  processing in several light passes rather trying 1 big one--and adjust fft size upwards each new noise sa

i've got cs6 , need take image that's 15x11 @300dpi , upsize 60x48 @300dpi. what's best way produce best results? thanks. i know said have cs6, cc has new upscaling feature called "preserve detail" workd well.  your'e other option onone's genuine fractals, upscaling.  other than, try of different resampling modes.  might work better file.  bicubic smoother suppost upscaling, of other modes better. i purchased computer windows 8, tried playing games , said flash player out of date , took me adobe website said flashplayer integrated windows 8 not need update,there couple of troubleshooting tips in tools,but did not help.  have problem or fix? the message right. flash player (for internet explorer @ least) integrated browser microsoft. depending on how long new pc "on shelf" there updates aren't installed. got new toshiba laptop in june, , "december" build, 6-month-old laptop year now.   flash player ie updates through windows update. latest version 11.9.900.152. you can access flash player global settings via control panel>system , security panel, manually run windows update, if need to.   ie11 has had numerous problems sorts of sites, yahoo, facebook, bbc, espn , more. microsoft's recommendation enable compatibility view these sites "pretend" ie11 version works still. my recommendation not pretend you're using else, use else. firefo

i had 10.04 machine ati radeon video card. updated 12.04, cool went upgrade fglrx binary version website "amd-driver-installer-12.6-legacy-x86.x86_64.zip" used .run file create deb package used dpkg -i install deb package wanted reboot.. things went awry.. upon reboot login screen , no keyboard or mouse. .. can ssh box.. , seems fine.. except cannot seem recognize keyboard , mouse on login screen. lsusb says keyboard there.. can , use bios keyboard , mouse cant interrupt boot grub on thing.. have uninstalled fglrx, reinstalled it, removed , tried installing 1 repositories, same same.. no keyboard or mouse.. know going on this.. ? an update, since new upgrade.. held down left shift while booting offered 3.2.0-29 1 has no keyboard. (pressing e menu tells me virtual image of sort) selecting recovery image main grub menu gives me ansi graphic no keyboard or mouse..

hello, i've been running 12.04 since release , never experienced issues w/ performance, although, after fresh install yesterday, overall performance has dropped, , apparent w/ multimedia apps gthumb , rhythmbox - of operations (like going single picture view browse view in gthumb), switching windows to/from them takes longer (like 3-4 seconds) used to. has been happening w/ both unity , gnome classic (with no effects) sessions. happening w/ ubuntu 12.04 64-bit. you had recent kernel update? check terminal program 'top' processes hogging cpu. i'm not sure if if bug. perhaps i'm not using edge reflow correctly, since it's in beta there's darth of resources. here's problem:   1) when move layers up/down. 4 out of 5 times accidently group contents of div when didn't intend that,  seems somehow act of moving layers group div contents sometimes.. weird..   2) layer palette hard use in current state. think needs floating palette of part of tool set on left. right requires click before can access it. , scrolling up/down palette strains hands. bc use palette every other second.   3) there way lock values eneter div/elements?? (ie. margin, positions,, etc) bc gets moved automatically when bring in new elements impacts it. understand nature of webdesign.. possible lock entered values don't have re-enter values on , on again...( spend 70% of time doing that, , takes me half day day  jsut layout page...!)   #1 , #3 why i'm reluctant use real work right now. b/c 2 bugs slow me down much... :-(   but can s
