i have downloaded photoshop cc, bridge , lightroom 5.2 64 bit , suffering terrible performance issues.  both photoshop , lightroom worked after couple of days , few hundred images being imported lightroom can no longer use lightroom.    the computer works fine prior me opening lightroom, can use programs, open files , folders no issue.  have opened lightroom whole system grinds hault.  lightroom unresponsive , rest of system practically freezes, took on hour open folder containing 100 jpegs.  when closing laptop have manually close background programs because unresponsive.   the computer has 6gb ram, 500gb hdd , dual core processor there ample power cope program on system.   could please reccomend resolution these performance issuse. the adobe website has bunch of recommendations improving performance. make sure have cache sizes right, enough free space on drive, make sure have catalog , related files on same , fastest disk. check preferences make sure you're rendering appropriat

i figured i'd try out ubuntu 12.04 running cd, when try boot cd nothing happened except black screen blinking cursor. set cd downloading *.iso file , burning infrarecorder on windows xp. of note when try open file cd, error message saying, "cannot open [filename] file. make sure disk in drive specified." don't think computer-specific problem because tried on computer , same black screen showed up. did turn down write speed before burning? i hoping someone  can assist me issue having in after effects cc, or know should reach out to.   i use smedge render farm tool. can launch multiple instances (per core of licensed machine) of aerender render project. worked beautifully on cs6, cc breaks. shoots out following error: "after effects error: unable obtain license. please run full application correct problem or more detailed message."  machine licensed me logged in , can run ae cc gui no issue.   is there way activate multiple aerender nodes on single licensed machine? have 8-proc machine used able launch 8 instances of aerender on cs6, since a.e.cc, no more.   any appreciated has cut render time down drastically. thanks, -eric launching multiple instances of after effects aerender application on 1 computer in way has never been tested or supported workflow. if worked, happy accident. i installed ubuntu 10.04 beside windows 7 (not wubi). seemed work except monitor problem think had worked out. upgraded ubuntu 11... seemed go ok. upgraded ubuntu 12. after that, not boot either ubuntu 12 or windows7 installed boot-restore (i think name of it) using livecd. computer boot straight windows7 only! used livecd , ran "fdisk-l" , shows if have 3 "fat", 2 ubuntu , 1 other partition. looked @ harddrive using windows 7 program , shows 148mb windows (not rest of 320mb of harddrive). on other desktop computer, when turn on computer, gives me menu choose either windows or linux. computer in question here never gives me option . how ubuntu?? was app boot repair? if not, install while on livecd desktop , run "recommended repair". if fails fix things, can run boot info script same app. post contents or link of file generates , can take look. link boot repair in

hi,   i new premiere , did simple edit removing last 10 secs 1 minute video. after exporting, audio 50% lower original file. tried playing in windows media player, quicktime, etc , gave same results.   what want retain original quality of original file , remove last 10 seconds of video.   video taken panasonic x920 videocam setting of 1080i (file size around 250mb) - format avhcd? can save format again? don't see format in export settings   export settings : h264 , tried both aac stereo , 5.1 no luck.   my computer i7 / asus mboard / 32gb ram / nvidia 660ti vcard desktop   what should do? bring exported video pp , @ waveform.  you'll find 1 of 2 things.  it's same in original, in case have player volume change.  or it'll lower, in case have @ you're doing change that.   pp doesn't on it's own.
