Thread: Trouble Booting & Reading Data from SSD

hey all,

i'm running problems kubuntu of sudden. yesterday computer running poorly, , after restart came with:

code:
error: hd0 out of disk press key continue...
... , dropped me busybox built-in shell, i've never been in before.

heard "out of disk" error can problem grub, booted image , going see if problem. however, attempt mount drive yields this:

code:
kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt mount:	wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error in cases useful info found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so
dmesg yields:

code:
kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ dmesg | tail [ 659.228555] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] sense key : medium error [current] [descriptor] [ 659.228555] descriptor sense data sense descriptors (in hex): [ 659.228555] 72 03 11 04 00 00 00 0c 00 0a 80 00 00 00 00 00 [ 659.228555] 02 c1 56 18 [ 659.228555] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] add. sense: unrecovered read error - auto reallocate failed [ 659.228555] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] cdb: write(10): 2a 00 02 c1 56 18 00 00 10 00 [ 659.228555] end_request: i/o error, dev sda, sector 46224920 [ 659.228555] jbd2: recovery failed [ 659.228555] ata1: eh complete [ 659.228555] ext4-fs (sda1): error loading journal
i'm @ loss. suspect issue drive; shows in bios @ full size, won't mount slot or if connected via usb (runcore ssds have micro socket built in). have ideas?

in case need info, it's dell mini 9 32gb runcore ssd , 2gb of memory.

assuming have entire operating system on drive 1 partition, have installed many programs.

if continue end black screen , command line access only.

check disk usage, open terminal , type
code:
df -h
that show (as percentage) how where. please post result reply.
