when place illustrator .ai images in indesign, turn out pixelated/rough around edges. have tried changing display preferences in indesign high quality, , have tried configuring illustrator copy aicb. neither of these have worked. have suggestions? a screen capture help.   there probablilty of minor image degradation when placing files in id. viewing jpeg preview, not actual paths or pixels of original. not affect output, uses actual image data. hi all. need ask ubuntu's boot process again because i've had reinstall last version of ubuntu several times due crashes , when ran installer 1 time sdx letter different second time ran it. defines hd0 grub , linux kernel? defined first boot device or else? read somewhere grub identifies drives letter depending on uuid correct? don't boot linux insalls changing usb drive first boot device instead because usb drive use f12 boot menu switch boot mbr on usb drive. affect drives grub maps letters to? installer , grub-mbr update packages consider hd0 when write install mbr? drive installed seen sdb2 (hd1,2) second partition of usb drive. when ran installer reinstall ubuntu after crashed realized usb drive seen sdc2(hd2,2 grub) second drive second partition, knew because files stored on first ntfs partition on sdc1 drive. edit: sorry should have mentioned laptop acer aspire 5742 intel hda graphics 128mb, 3gb of ram , 320gb hdd.

every time try upgrade or reinstall acrobat verstion 11.0.04, fails. i've installed version 11.0.0 , when go "apps" on creative cloud dashboard, doesn't show have software installed, though do. error message 1301 each time try upgrade. i've uninstalled software , reinstalled 4 times, each time, installs version 11.0.0, , when try upgrade 11.0.0.4 1301 message. i've repaired hard disk, repaired permissions, etc. other ideas??? you talking update, not upgrade. updates can downloaded http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=windows , similar mac. updates must installed in order. can not go 0 04 in 1 step. normal way updates help>updates. if there more 1 update shown, install lowest number update first , return higher updates. did not indicate how doing updates, assume had been going update site above. i'm having serious intermittent problem getting pdf's print or export safari.  when try , open pdf in browser error message adobe reader needs opened (even if open) , need close out safari , re-open link see pdf.  after that, when try print or export file, blank pages.  i've tried having them downloaded or printed images doesn't work either.  it's frustrating.   i've tried trashing adobe reader , re-installing no avail. it's gotten point open preview , screen grab of pdf's , save them way.  not best workaround.   any appreciated.   macbook pro osx 10.9 safari version 7.0 (9537.71) adobe reader  11.0.04 have every opened adobe reader application , accepted eula? hi, have 2 questions, first involved. 1) trying change dns servers , after checking internet on how @ complete loss. using 12.04 64 bit, xubuntu xfce de. isp has dns servers used, want change them , try different servers. /etc/resolve.conf says "do not edit file hand -- changes overwritten". did manage find this: code: sudo gedit /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf change line : perpend domain-name-servers x.x.x.x, y.y.y.y; and added 2 different dns servers, when check "connection information", shows 2 dns servers added, 'ternary' dns server, original dns server supplied isp. want primary , secondary dns servers prepended in dhclient.conf 2) after setting dns servers, there way check see dns servers are? know can @ "connection information" , see list of dns servers, there way ping verify using? appreciated. if using network manager, best way click nm ic
