i getting error loadig downloaded template: "this project contains 4 references missing effects. please install following effects restore these references..."   there lot of info out there on how create custom (pseudo) effects in older versinos of ae, including manually updating preseteffects.xm l file custom preset info. however, running 11.0.2 on mac, , there no preseteffects.xm l file. in fact, there no folder: /applications/adobe after effects csx/ (show package contents) /resources/   is there information on how manually create it, or how achieve same thing in v 11? what effects missing? template may require plug-ins not have. "lightroom 4 catalog corrupt , cannot used or backed until repaired"   repairing not seem problem, have backed catalog numerous times before occurence. the first thing try recent backup.   make copy of in operating system , perhaps rename it.   then double click on or choose file->open catalog inside lr.   set lr backup on exit , perform optimization.   if works proceed catalog while, maybe month. concern problem may exist in backups. if goes go on there. otherwise repeat next oldest catalog.   there folks know how repair actual database inside catalog beyond expertise. on monday 25 asked here change subscription photoshop cc + lr. phoned customer service busy phoned back. first of december , nothing happend. cannot stop old subscription or te new 1 because must go through customer service.  , impossible reach them. so again i'm hoping help. thanks adobe for not being helpfull, great customer service! well subscription ends in 2 month's time , ill going elswhere. ok, have ubuntu 12.04 system has single user. need lock network settings, dns settings, being changed user while still allowing them other root permissions. i'm setting opendns on content blocking , don't want able change dns settings once they're set. want set on computer rather router because laptop , don't want able carry off in search of wifi bypass filtering. possible? realize i'll need create separate administrator account full root access don't have password to, that's fine. looks sudoers file need change i'm not sure what settings use , man sudo written in arcane form of geek i'm not quite familiar with. initial google searches revealed single web page hinted done, didn't tell me how it, google-fu weak. suggestions? if user has other root privileges, what's stopping him becoming root , doing whatever wants? have restrict root (which ridiculous , impossible).

is there way consolidate artwork when collecting multiple files created in indesign?   quark this, , efficiently; when collect multiple files same folder won't duplicate identical linked graphics or fonts. indesign, however, seems want each file in own folder, precludes merging components.   i'm collect 25 separate, identical files, between them there 3 unique pieces of background art, , i'd not gather (package) , send 25. likewise fonts. please let me know. thanks. add them book (.indb) file, package book. can delete book after. don't synchronize or update numbering when adding files. i achieved project few month ago premiere-cc projectmanager. i've opened change few things.   today i've wanted finish project videofiles appear offline. trying import files again - premiere recognise file audio file (it mov prores) same problem ae files. all happened on macpro.     than moved media , project files imac , there works fine.   what's problem macpro here? i've resettet preferences, i've tried reinstall premiere there semmes no solution.
