Thread: re-assemble raid0 array

hi
think right place ask, if not i'll move it.

had raid1 (mirror) on 4 disks /, homefolder (/home) on rest of 4 disks, , kept recent backups on usb drive.

after making new backup took pc apart summercleaning, trying take backup of netbook killed backup-drive. left 4 drives, won't boot or assemble raid0 array, because in wrong order.

there way re-assemble raid0 array if disks no longer in correct order, or should give , start over?

code:
$ sudo mdadm --assemble --scan mdadm: devices uuid-363fed2c:cbf63de4:7bcb8d07:46ef23dd , uuid-363fed2c:cbf63de4:7bcb8d07:46ef23dd have same name: /dev/md/0 mdadm: duplicate md device names in conf file found.
edit: can't use alternative installer freezes on me @ start
