this bug(?) that's been lingering around quite few versions of premiere pro. can't imagine it's intended feature, wrong. i'm pretty problem in premiere pro cs5 , cs6, , problem still exists in premiere pro cc 7.1.0 (141)   i'm on windows 7, i'm pretty sure issue occurred on previous versions of windows (i've used xp).   steps reproduce bug: open project panel switch classic list view inside project panel, double-click on item very single-click on different item in project panel   for whatever reason, the software treats single-click double-click within 1/2 second (estimated timeframe, 500ms) after double-clicking on item .   this accidental seconary double-click can slow me down if it: replaces footage tried open in source mointor different footage open bin in new window opens import window opens additional timeline didn't mean open etc.   i'm able replicate everytime try it   the project bin place happens, , it's happened on different macines, k

i have 2 questions; 1 - possible start program minmized taskbar? 2 - possible change icons in taskbar? have noticed icons in taskbar differ shown in menu. icons used in taskbar located? i can't answer question 1, question 2 simple. right-click icon, select "panel" context menu, there select items tab, , locate appropriate launcher list results. can count "separator" item locate 1 want. select it, click pencil-like "edit" button beside list bring editing dialog selected launcher. next, click icon shown in editing dialog; bring window of application icons. can change category "all" see everything, pick 1 want use, highlight it, , click ok/save (i'm not @ 12.04 system right now). it. can edit them 1 trip panel items list. hope helps! i turned on gpu acceleration on imac nvidia geforce gtx 780m 4096 mb card. realize not "certified." odd buy fastest thing possible best performance and...   in case, if use software accel only, have no problem. crops crop effect: light line @ border of clip. nothing -- changing parameters , on -- changes this. here's pic: it's same clip superimposed on itself, 1 color correct, 1 without. suggestions (other turning off gpu accel...)   i'm not seeing here 560 ti using 331.65 driver.   what happens if remove cc , leave crop? hi, ok, i'm lost, re-installed ubuntu on 1 of pc's. usual tried copy thunderbird folder (~/.thunderbird) other pc's freshly installed 1 have same folder/mails ect. on new one. worked hundreds of times did in past. i'm stuck. after starting thunderbird on new installed pc's opens fine, can see mail-folders + mails, reasons can't send or receive mails mail-server. works fine on other pc. internet connection fine , can telnet mail server cmd line. whats missing? p.s. tried create new profile folder (with profilemanager) , pointed correct profile folder...same problem. pps. argh..nevermind..my fault. had wrong proxy entries in preferences.. hello, wondering if else has come across problem of flashing/flickering incoming video on skype 4.0.0.8 in 10.04. older version of skype worked ok, now, out-going video, incoming video flickers on , off @ 1 or 2 frames per second. not same "green screen" issue, , 'ld_preload...' has been tried, launcher command bash result bash returns error stating ld... not preloaded: ignoring. also, video ok when call connected, though couple seconds, starts flickering problem. - maybe kind of frame-rate issue? hey all, i've been scouring net advice on upcoming shoot i'm dit/media manager for, make sure got workflow down pat. problem is, haven't found reliable answers either way concerning above question, thought i'd put community see response was.   mainly, ingest of c300 footage recorded cf cards, workflow media premiere?   do you   a)   ingest card canon xf utility multiple drives > create new project premiere cc > use media browser import cards - > start cutting   or   b)   ingest card prelude cc multiple drives -> send premiere -> start cutting.   or combination there of? of transcode prores or dnxhd?   my biggest concern avoiding corrupting data card. know prelude has md5 checksum, why use pretty else (not sure if xf utility bit bit comparison). i'm worried spanning mutliple clips issues interview, multi camera shoot long takes (see here -> http://forums.adobe.com/message/5045764#5045764 )   any other advice have, or examples of workflow appreciated
