Thread: No connection after Thunderbird Restore


hi,

ok, i'm lost, re-installed ubuntu on 1 of pc's. usual tried copy thunderbird folder (~/.thunderbird) other pc's freshly installed 1 have same folder/mails ect. on new one. worked hundreds of times did in past. i'm stuck. after starting thunderbird on new installed pc's opens fine, can see mail-folders + mails, reasons can't send or receive mails mail-server. works fine on other pc.

internet connection fine , can telnet mail server cmd line. whats missing?

p.s. tried create new profile folder (with profilemanager) , pointed correct profile folder...same problem.

pps. argh..nevermind..my fault. had wrong proxy entries in preferences..

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
