i have internal sdcard reader on desktop (plugged on 1 of usb ports of motherboard). did fresh install couple of months ago , although worked, stopped doing while now. reader includes number of formats, including usb port, works fine. i've tested reader number of other sdcards it's no go, when work fine other computers (be them under windows or linux of same flavor). make sure, digged out external card reader, , exact same thing. checked whether formatting problem disk tool, , saw computer sees card present, doesn't recognize file system (which basic fat formating, cards used in camera). idea ? i have been happily using my-weather-indicator, suggested on forum while back. there have been short intervals when 2 locations monitor display n/a short time, data returns in few minutes without input on part. today however, n/a has remained since morning. clicking on refresh weather has no effect. don't know weather server app using, suspect server down. my indicator down until changed google yahoo . happens me 2 reasons. national weather service station provides data 6 miles home down maintenance or there server problem. wunderground web site posts message if local station down. i have posted on chromium's bug report well. here problem. 1. install chrome ubuntu, open gmail (if have account) 2. start constant audio 3. wait horrible stuttering when gmail checks mail (approx. every 2-5 minutes). have asrock z67 gen3 pro3 mobo using alc892 chipset. ubuntu 12.04 & last 2 versions of chrome ubuntu (don't know if affected earlier versions, new ubuntu user.) other problem when hdmi connected cannot change resolutions. ubuntu reports it's unsupported , errors (even though displaying @ resolution before hdmi enabled) normal display rez 1680 x 1050 no issues until try change monitors resolution when hdmi enabled. (and yes, mirrored display unchecked each time tried) video card radeon hd6850. re: issue w/ chromium+flash, noticing same problem (laggy, choppy or erratically paced video , audio) since recent update chrome 21.0.1180.79 works fine in firefox, i'm assuming

this may seem camera question more weather seeing correctly.   i have 2 sets of cameras. pair of hmc150's , pair of gh3's, both panasonic. have worked hmc more gh3. got fancy led tv wifi capable. yesterday decided watch few of videos on vimeo.  watched these 2.   https://vimeo.com/78972598   - gh3 https://vimeo.com/63472454   - hmc150 ( minus stop motion in beginning )   on new tv hmc comes off smoother , driving me crazy. both 4:2:0 cameras aprarently seeing footage externally monitor in unstable way. me there no way hmc avchd 23mbps footage should better 50mbps .mov gh3.   things have noted:   1. there seems less noise in hmc footage (gh3 @ 200iso 12-35mm f/2.8 lens) 2. darker colors seem muddier in gh3 footage 3. blacks grainier in gh3 footage   i sure not camera how seeing via calibrated u2410 through bm intensity.  1 camera ccd , other cmos.   what guys see? i'd recommend using blu-ray , hdtv these kinds of comparisons, not vimeo. hey all: i'm @ wit's end. i've got dept trying sorted out no effect. i've got pc running windows 7 pro 32 bit, 2.8ghz core i7 processor , 8gb of ram. i've got on 350gb open on drive. a fresh install (after running adobe uninstaller) of cs5 leave me "not responding" hang if try open (via double-clicking file or open dialog box), or if try make new document. one clue noticed during install installer threw warning not meeting minimum specs, illustrator. system has more minimum processor, ram, screen resolution, , other specs, i'm not sure why think did not. leads me wonder if that's symptom of whatever's wrong. this new job , illustrator primary work environment, greatly appreciated! bridge/ photoshop colour issues:     appears there few pictures noticeably dull, when load them in bridge , photoshop.   same pictures vibrant when @ them directly sd card or load them picassa.  tried editing picture, saving in photoshop, opening in picassa , has same dullness.  since having issue, have updated drivers on quadro graphics card, think may way set adobe bridge, because first time have imported large batch of photos bridge.  however, pretty left standard settings in bridge.  suggestions?     fyi - started using adobe master collection, win 7 pro 64 , huey pro embedded on laptop. colour settings huey pro on laptop, srgb in photoshop , general purpose bridge (i haven’t had issue before , huey pro has been colour settings on laptop since got adobe).   derek are these raw (cr2, nef, arw, rw2, etc) photos sd card or jpgs? hi all,   i've watched of tutorials , read can bottom of no avail. understand need use foilders panel in library module move photos, problem folder module not show destination folders @ all!   when import images create job , place images in subfolder named raw files eg.  2013 jobs > 075 robert , jess e-shoot > raw files   this way of images in folder job related. occasionally, however, forget change import folder when importing raws, , images next job go raw folder previous job. i'd able move raw images correct folder, in folder panel path showing path i've imported to.   in case above, 2013 jobs file should show 75 subfolders of individual jobs, there 1 showing. need able see destination folder in lightroom move raws proper home. can't see destination folder can't move files, , end having try work out in operating system.   can tell me how of subfolders show?   thanks, antony create folder here: then can move files it. i resized ntfs partition , created ext4 partition free space on ubuntu server in datacenter running on ubuntu 10.04. after going through process through gparted, i've got warning error says: error: current ntfs volume size bigger device size! partition not contain boot record. don't understand error message begin with, i'm wondering if ok if restart machine? safe restart error? new ext4 partition resized partition works great... grub default boot loader... windows 1 called after grub if option selected. please let me know. anyone? i got problem ubuntu 10.04.4 , re install ubuntu 12.04 using usb. not boot can boot usb. how can change it also, no wireless network , not find terminal command etc. machine dell inspiron mini 10. grub installed on usb drive instead of main drive. try installing boot repair (link in sig line) , clicking on "recommended repair". if doesn't fix it, post contents of, or link to, boot info script results. can run script boot repair. should able open terminal ctrl-alt-t. version: illustrator cs5.1 system: mac os x 10.8.5   when open illustrator, opening first document causes panels jump bottom of screen, they're off screen. if click button workspace, return proper place @ right side of screen. if open document, stay are.   but happens every time open illustrator , open first document. happens every file, , custom workspace. i've created new workspaces , hasn't solved problem. haven't found answer on google or in forums anywhere. window >> application frame,  redefine workspace   let me know if helps. have bottom of palettes cut off because of application frame, like. out too. hey there, morning when friend went start computer, took lot longer usual. once ubuntu had fired up, there lot of messages (something along lines of, "system program problem detected", options report problem or cancel. when went view ntfs partitions, they'd complete vanished , ubuntu wouldn't see them. tried using recovery console run fsck, came lot of errors. tried using gparted, showed partitions, when tried repair , check through gparted, said operation had completed didn't seem either. after that, tried running fdisk -l didn't show anything, except coming "bus error" message. i'm beginning think drive possibly dead, there can use try , mount partition , try , data off it? thanks. if ntfs have run chkdsk windows? ubuntu not mount ntfs partition if flagged needing chkdsk prevent further damage chkdsk may not able fix. can check hard drive using disk ut

i migrated files new macbook pro. have not been able launch indesign since doing so. other cs products, while glitchy, seem working. launch generates splash page, crashes , generates crash report. hi, refreshed dell mini 10 inspiron machine ubuntu 12.04. working fine. got problem evolution. evolution goes in following folder /.home/.local/share/evolution had copy of .evolution folders of ubuntu 10.04 version in drive. when deleted new evolution above folder , pasted old evolution folder @ above directory. merged except addressbook.db not work. how fix issues. did several installation , un-installation nothing fixed.
