AI CS5 not responding, Win7


hey all: i'm @ wit's end. i've got dept trying sorted out no effect.

i've got pc running windows 7 pro 32 bit, 2.8ghz core i7 processor , 8gb of ram. i've got on 350gb open on drive.

a fresh install (after running adobe uninstaller) of cs5 leave me "not responding" hang if try open (via double-clicking file or open dialog box), or if try make new document.

one clue noticed during install installer threw warning not meeting minimum specs, illustrator. system has more minimum processor, ram, screen resolution, , other specs, i'm not sure why think did not. leads me wonder if that's symptom of whatever's wrong.

this new job , illustrator primary work environment, greatly appreciated!

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
