ubuntu 12.04 precise pangolin, 64-bit version i've been looking solution problem months. basically, happens time in program drag , drop in nautilus or if try magnify image in firefox, program crashes. i've notice happens whenever cursor changes magnifying glass, circle slash through or copy wedge. happens when try type dialog box, example typing number of pages print. can me? if known issue, link me solution? i don't think common problem, @ least haven't read before here on forums. can post hardware specs , graphics driver using? did system log file whether there hint on problem? i upgraded  nikon d90 camera d610.  i've been using adobe bridge manage photos made d90, , camera raw 6.3 convert raw files use in photoshop cs5.  new d610 writes different raw files, upgraded camera raw latest version (6.7.1) said compatable latest nikon cameras.    the d90 files still convert fine camera raw 6.7.1, raw files d610 cannot read.  have insight why not?   thanks, joelp you need have 8.3 beta version works cs6 , cc d610.   regards, ashutosh More discussions in Adobe Camera Raw adobe

i used connect canon rebel directly pc, , gthumb photo import tool automatically open, , import pics. since installing 12.04, camera no longer detected, , i've not been able ubuntu detect it. so, bought internal sd card reader, has brought it's own problems. when insert sd card, mounts fine, it's impossible copy files it. 1 meg file takes on full minute, copying 100 pics 6+ megs each takes inordinate amount of time. have tried various lines in fstab no avail (maybe i'm using wrong arguments?) if open disk administrator, can select card (16 gb drive), click little gear icon, , click "mount options". cam change options here mount, revert upon next boot. annoying! how can ubuntu mount card full privilages? some things worth trying pinpoint cause: same card in different machine same card in different ubuntu version other card in same machine way should able lo

i using photoshop version 14.1.2 creative cloud, using windows 7 dell laptop. as can see, tried convert red rectangle in layer 5 3d object (i plan turn "life preserver" little boy).  however, when tried convert 3d object, none of objects available selection.   why unable so?  not considered proper image conversion 3d?  or somehow bug, , if it's bug, how fix it? hi dear friend, having same throble, please, did resolve it? hi guys,   a question -   there quite few external raid 0 drives out there (e.g. wd studio ii) esata , fw800 connections, make sense have 2 hdd raid 0 setup through firewire 800 media drive or scratch disk purposes?   from know fw800 maxes out @ around 75 mb/s speeds , presuming actual disks should capable of around 100 mb/s, how benefit linking them in raid 0 - if resulting speed of disks close 200 mb/s, firewire still cap it.   am missing in terms of raid 0 benefits when used on fw800? no makes 0 sense fw800 raid drive 7200rpm drives. e-sata or usb3 better , suggest. eric adk More discussions in Hardware Forum adobe

at least twice week creative cloud signs me out on computer , wipes synced fonts it. persistent internet connection using dsl.   i have twice been without internet  - both of times creative cloud completel signed me due lack of internet connection, wiping fonts , literally made impossible work graphic designer until internet came back.   adobe says on place shouldn't have connect internet except every 30-90 days, forget - not case. help? i have same issue. seems font sync requires 100% connection no interruptions, not mention godawful 6 different processes running bogging down pc. hi all, have 12.04 running in latest version of virtual box win7 64bit host os. i'm guessing if windows has malware keyloggers, screenscrapers, etc running, malware capture keystrokes , screenshots while i'm running ubuntu in virtual box. assumption correct? if not, why? thinking windows still running happily in background i'm using vbox/ubuntu. did experiment , appears when ubuntu screen active, windows printscreen key combo not work.
