i have client has large number of documents.  when accesses these documents warning "pop-up" box/prompt appear instruction user.  possible pdf documents?  if can applied batch process?   any appreciated you can use javascript trigger 'alert' box contents limited, , of course won't work outside of acrobat or adobe reader on desktop. can add document-level code file using actions.   the other option add message in layer, use full-page invisible button or link hide layer again - adding layer can automated, button/link more problematic. hello, bought nvidia quadro k2000 faster rendering times. adobe premiere , adobe media encoder both reconize quadro gpu rendering. there seems to no difference in render times between using mecury engine software mode , the cuda accelerated gpu mode. also, when render in gpu mode, cpu being used very heavily thought odd because gpu suppose giving computer cpu break. any ideas why no difference in render times? thanks!   brandon c. how many cuda cores card have, , card's clock speed? hi, running v12 lts server kubuntu desktop , have online photo gallery running. if leave while monitor output switches off , after waking wireless appears work web browser , gallery unavailble on net. guess have gone sleep , not woken again. how can prevent computer sleeping or @ least activate wake-on-lan function of wireless adaptor? if running server, don't need desktop. i'd suggest remove kdm, if need gui anything, use the: code: startx command, log out when finished. i'd suggest if server open world, revert wired network connection, not run wireless problems. hello, installed ubuntu 12.04 64-bit yesterday. sadly, noticed when hover mouse on launcher icons , down, along launcher, text popup arrow displaying name of icon's program badly rendered, looking shadow or broken popup. it's not matter of speed, if leave cursor on icon, text popup remains glitchy. have looks bad, unpolished, , hope there's way have fixed. know it's cosmetic bug, it's disappointing , glitchy, not mention rhythmbox hiding bottom end of song's title because font size big, that's story. pc powered amd phenom quad-core cpu , ati card. i've installed proprietary ati drivers, it's not made difference. ironically, if take screenshot of broken onmouseover text popup, first gets rendered correctly, takes shot. hello everybody,     i using windows 8.1 enterprise in vdi infrastructure connect desktop residing in hyper-v environment providing remotefx support. therefore in virtual desktop connect through rdp virtual graphic adapter offers direct gpu support , 3d acceleration.   when using firefox 25.0.1 in combination latest relase of adobe shockwave player 11.9.900.152 (tried several older releases), embedded videos played without sound. furthermore when trying play video on youtube video starts fine 5sec , youtube error message displayed saying technical problems. however, videos incl. youtube played flawless when using internet explorer on same desktop.   is there solution ? bug or not supported ?   thank ! i'm having exact same problem. using firefox 29.0 , adobe flash 13.0 (also tried silverlight). running remotefx on windows 7 32-bit guest hyper-v 2012 r2. haven't updated rdp 8.0 on guest yet because having trouble getting connected initially. might try , see if makes difference

"the creation of swap space in partition #5 of scsi1 (0,0,0) (sda) failed." i getting error while installing lubuntu on older acer laptop (40gb hard drive, 256 mb ram). interestingly, error when try install lubuntu 12.04 on laptop, not when install ubuntu 11.10. in both cases installing usb drive. ubuntu 11.10 installation proceeds fine. ubuntu runs on older machine wanted try lubuntu. have tried install ubuntu 11.10, , "upgrade" lubuntu 12.04 (i had imagined lubuntu upgrade wouldn't require recreating swap space), same failure occurs then, too. know source of failure is? there plenty of forum posts out there suggesting without authority 1 check hard drive. don't see evidence that's problem. post moved own thread. i have been fiddling around trying sound work on lubuntu 12.04 install on acer aspire 1 725, able sound whisper. have fact pulse audio wasn't installed , configured @ system install? do sort out? not sure if has relevance issue, have noticed while sound control applet installed in panel according panel configuration, applet doesn't show in panel. a restart after installing pulse audio seems have solved problem, although have set output 140% consider normal sound output. over last couple weeks i've noticed battery life in lubuntu quite terrible. have dell inspiron 1545 running lubuntu 12.04, replaced stock battery 9-cell battery year ago. in windows, 4 hours of battery life. in lubuntu, battery life closer 2 hours. morning, after laptop sat charging night, unplugged see. within seconds battery meter dropped 63% (about 2 hours of run time). i'm suspicious battery indicator incorrect. can't imagine having worse battery life in lubuntu in windows... there other battery monitors try installing see say, or still problem operating system regardless? i have robohelp 9 project (single sourced through framemaker)   i can compile , run. when view it, see full along "allow blocked content" message.   when click allow blocked content, appears toc missing. hello,   i have seat needs use creative cloud job. cannot install creative cloud application , when trying afresh, gets error "unable install creative cloud please close active adobe applications , retry installation" message via dmg image installer file. there no other or active adobe application on imac , no adobe application running anywhere on machine.   imac os x 10.8.5, 2.9ghz.   the problem reoccurs after navigating applications/utilities folder , putting folders adobe application manager folder , creative cloud trash , emptying it. navigating library/application support/adobe/oobe folder , renaming oobe.old, again downloading creative cloud desktop url https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud , trying again install it.   despite of this, same "unable install creative cloud please close active adobe applications , retry installation" message prompt comes , installation of creative cloud application abandoned.   this frustrating experience. workarou
