New Computer and upgrade from 10 to 12


i have elements 10 on old computer (vista) , bought new computer (windows 8.1).  saved cataloge old computer onto external hard drive used move catalog new computer.  bought elements 12 upgrade , downloaded directly new computer, restored , converted , saved catalog , found while tags intact, file folders mess.  many folders renamed, combined others.  have huge number of photos , need old file structure transfer cleanly.  know how make work?   in advance.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
