hello everyone,   this issue has been happening on laptop lr3 , lr5 (trial version).   this issue has been mentioned here before, via thread:   http://forums.adobe.com/message/4698680   however, "op's"solution of resetting image in develop not working.   what's happening troubling. when loading image in develop, can see original colors , tone captured in film strip. however, image loads, lightroom applying sort of processing  changing color , detail. problematic night time star shots, fine detail of night sky darkened , muted lightroom. in other instances, such shooting wildlife, can see proper color in lightroom preview panel , in canon's dpp (i'm using 7d , 6d prime lenses btw), lightroom wipes out image loads.   it's quite strange see series of photos in film strip proper color, , having wiped out blander. more noticable in images "uni-light", is, color shade tends dominate image, if lightroom thinks wrong , trying correct it. needles say, re

i noticed ph cs6 layer dragging laggy, , not smooth @ all. example, in 2048x872 file dragging layers around in photoline smooth. same document in photoshop quite laggy , quite distracting. in photoline frame update seems 10 times smoother.   photoline, of course, not use opengl. turning off opengl (gpu hardware accelleration) photoshop improves performance lot, full image layers @ resolution still not reach performance of photoline's smooth dragging, , while dragging full image layer lot of image tearing in photoshop (with gpu turned off in performance). not great.   the same brush engine performance: drawing laggy. in photoline , krita painting smooth , not laggy @ all. tiny brush spacing @ on 50% still slow work in photoshop.   has else noticed this? there specific amd setting improve photoshop's opengl performance? turning off gpu acceleration not option. i'd system should able run photoshop smoothly. other apps do! krita's opengl viewport on windows butter smooth wh

i use adobe reader xi v11.0.04   i have hp photosmart d110 series printer use macbook pro.  when scan document using "hp scan" app on computer, doc shows scanned on computer screen.  when go save it, following error message:  "an error has occurred saving file because not written to.  check properties file make sure not read-only."    i have rescanned doc several times same message. have uninstalled program , reinstalled cd - same message.  i've tried save various files same message.  set new file make sure not read-only file - same message.   also, when try scan using screen on printer, screen shows "scanning" it's not since don't see light nor hear noise.   anybody got ideas??? i don't see adobe reader involved anywhere in process.  me sounds mac os or permission problem. g'day,   when launch adobe reader on macbook pro , load document, click on 'sign' triggers discrete graphics chip.  remains active after closing document. if kill adobe reader application, graphics defaults integrated.   as typically load , sign , close document keep reader running.  in battery mode, drain power faster , i'd appreciate advice on how avoid it, or workaround - rather killing application every time.   adobe reader 11.0.04 mac osx 10.9 15" retina macbook pro (late-2013)     regards, jason. have checked apple forums well? loads of people reporting battery issues mavericks on there, though unrelated this, i'm sure. don't know cause switch reader. perhaps 1 of hardware gurus @ apple would. i'm using cs4 indesign. have 2 swatches exact same colour yet appear different between 2 indesign documents. when drag text between 2 documents automaticly switches other colour. confused this, never run before wondering if knows of colour profile setting or accidently changed or missed.   the swatch out-of-gamut rgb color, if there's transparency on page, or have overprint/separation preview turned on, displayed in document's cmyk space. hi all,   i experiencing weird behaviour os x 10.9 mavericks, id cs6, latest wacom 6.37-3 drivers (intuos4).   it happens when press alt-page up/down navigate through pages. when keep alt pressed , hover pen on tablet id zooms out 'fit page in window' (cmd-0) 50% view, while keeping alt pressed , hover pen on tablet id zooms out again 12,5%.   something triggering alt + hover pen on tablet combo. when release alt id doesn't zoom out when hover pen on tablet.   i tried downgrading wacom drivers previous version 6.36-4 , trashing id's prefs no luck. releasing alt key seems workaround.   does know can check used key combo's? maybe alt + hover pen somewhere logged such. have reported wacom technical support? sounds driver problem. i installed minimal ubuntu server (command line only), using half disk space. when tried install ubuntu make dual boot, however, can't see server install or partitions. wants use entire disk. have expected windows, not linux. these both latest releases. idea might doing wrong? did install lvm? standard live cd wouldn't able see lvm. also, if there error or corruption in partition table, offer use whole disk, not being able see existing installation. reason might if have raid meta data remains on disk (if used in hardware raid / fakeraid before), in case installer confused whether running raid or not. can start printing partitions with: code: sudo parted -l what show? i perviously created project in pe9 saved to seperate harddrive ive done many time. recently previous project not reopened. ive tried reinstalling program not open. see project not see mts files when asked open. (its not highlighted add) suggestion. have made other project after started , open fine. notice when click open projects not listed on recent projects im using macbook pro im not getting error messages harddrive mts files highlighted and when clicked on pe9 program openned project not so you're saying 1 of projects won't open?   that sounds corrupted project file. happens if try open 1 of project's auto save backup files? hi,     i have been using feather on image photo create corner faded edges after upgraded ver cs6, encounter problem when applying same method using feather (radius: 15-20) on image photo , did inverse, warning message popped out "warning: no pixels more 50% selected selection edges not visible". hence, cannot apply feather on image, can explain why so? image full solid color layer.   thanks! before inverted selection, feather such no part of image 'less' 50% selected, after tried invert selection, no part more 50% , unable continue.  nothing worry about.  use 1 of number of work-arounds make fether work way want to, , way make controllable, , adjustable.   i prefer use layer masks, can use masks properties adjust mask. curves or levels adjustment layer, darken or lighten corners per requirments.  use eliptical marquee tool create oval selection, , layer mask selected, fill black.  turn off selection (ctrl/cmd d) , apply gaussian blur feather black oval.   with mask
