Thread: Run a php script from the terminal while passing variables

hi everybody,

automatize task regularly do:

- open local wordpress install in firefox
- access settings of plugin in wordpress install
- change settings of plugin (through drop-down list , text field)
- run plugin, php script automatically add images posts during few minutes , stop automatically.

need multiple local wordpress sites, , different plugin settings, i'd integrate in small bash script (or other language).

first thought create imacros firefox launch bash script. problem must able pass variables imacro (the name of wordpress site access, , settings plugin), don't think it's possible imacro i've seen.

wanted use elinks. 1/ doesn't seem able run php script (nothing happens when launch script elinks) , 2/ don't think it's possible tell elinks via command line: click link, fill in form, etc...

there solution or language don't know, i'm asking here! appreciated.

an idea someone?
