Thread: Lubuntu 12.04 sound at whisper, Acer Aspire One 725


i have been fiddling around trying sound work on lubuntu 12.04 install on acer aspire 1 725, able sound whisper. have fact pulse audio wasn't installed , configured @ system install? do sort out? not sure if has relevance issue, have noticed while sound control applet installed in panel according panel configuration, applet doesn't show in panel.

a restart after installing pulse audio seems have solved problem, although have set output 140% consider normal sound output.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
