Panels move when opening new document.


version: illustrator cs5.1

system: mac os x 10.8.5

 

when open illustrator, opening first document causes panels jump bottom of screen, they're off screen. if click button workspace, return proper place @ right side of screen. if open document, stay are.

 

but happens every time open illustrator , open first document. happens every file, , custom workspace. i've created new workspaces , hasn't solved problem. haven't found answer on google or in forums anywhere.

window >> application frame,  redefine workspace

 

let me know if helps. have bottom of palettes cut off because of application frame, like. out too.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
