Photoshop CC opens and then closes immediately. What gives?


have signed photoshop cc , lightroom package. lightroom running fine (lightroom 5.2, 64-bit, windows 7).

 

  however, although photoshop seemed install ok, when open it, shuts down.

 

  when in creative cloud manager, says photoshop cc "up date".

 

uninstalled photoshop cc, logged out of creative cloud, logged in again, , re-installed photoshop cc.

 

  installation appeared go ok. started ps, window opened, , closed. asked complete registration logging adobe id. did (had done went rhough again) ps still crashes.

 

  signed out of creative cloud; signed in again; ps still crashes, pop-up appeared stating should complete registration signing in adobe id. did so, again.

 

  rebooted. still no success.

 

i'd appreciate help. thanks.

welcome club.

 

either it's serious problem photoshop having incompatibilities windows 7 64bit, or it's adobe's anti-piracy measures kicking in on it's users pay...

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
