Thread: skype in 10.04 flashing/flickering video


hello,

wondering if else has come across problem of flashing/flickering incoming video on skype 4.0.0.8 in 10.04.

older version of skype worked ok, now, out-going video, incoming video flickers on , off @ 1 or 2 frames per second.

not same "green screen" issue, , 'ld_preload...' has been tried, launcher command bash result bash returns error stating ld... not preloaded: ignoring.

also, video ok when call connected, though couple seconds, starts flickering problem. - maybe kind of frame-rate issue?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
