Complex puppet rigging: principle approach + swingy legs (picture! clip!)

i having trouble getting proper rig puppet made of 3d layers. building "realistic" shadowplay, got far: http://is.gd/xbmtmc

 

nice at, puppet putting out lot of timeout errors: "timeout while waiting engine". (right arm lost in expression...) until okay copy expressions , modify according needs. 1 challenging in complexity, hands down!

 

this puppet features need:

 

 

for ik of arms, used duik.

essential "realism" a feel of physics, that's why need delayed features, such swingy legs. (until did null aligned hip anchor. second null following latter 1 elastic connection script da ebberts applied. null used part of torso-pelvis-bone-system (duik). rotation of pelvis passed on legs.)

 

trying reduce amount of expressions. (i quite desperate , said because have lot of animation hand. never imagined problem have lot of expressions.)

 

there's 1 important thing - swinging of legs - can't without expressions. expression (dan's elastic connection script) got timeouts...

 

 

questions:

 

1. how rid of timeout errors? hardware or software/project problem?

 

2. there better/different/simpler way swingy legs? (elastic connection offers tad bit little control me.) started newton 2, need 3d not supported.

 

3. how can manage able rotate whole arm, or whole puppet? if now, controllers hands , legs go mad. know, can't parent controllers torso/master since need autonomy.

ae cs6 11.0.0.378, win 7 ultimate

intel i5-2500k, ram 24gb ddr3-1333, nvidia geforce gtx 460, ssd ocz vertex 2

long story short: people need see project including expressions. timeout errors occur loops not meeting termination criteria, quite possible if rig moves time , actual velocity of elements may never come rest. same true transform issues - have operations local layer , not added necessary layer space transforms. no matter, without seeing code , hierarchies, nobody can know.
