Thread: HP wifi doesn't show up after


hp wifi doesn't show after installing ubuntu onto hp netbook next old ubuntu installation when went kapuuutt on me.

wifi wasn't showing on original install, , when installed on divided partition wasn't near signal connected during install. later when got signal - configuration won't go through.

possible wifi device went kapuuutt? have system crapping out on me? how can find out? can wifi card plug in internet work again??

(1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
