Canon c300 - Prelude or Canon XF Utility for Ingest?

hey all, i've been scouring net advice on upcoming shoot i'm dit/media manager for, make sure got workflow down pat. problem is, haven't found reliable answers either way concerning above question, thought i'd put community see response was.

mainly, ingest of c300 footage recorded cf cards, workflow media premiere?

do you

a)

ingest card canon xf utility multiple drives > create new project premiere cc > use media browser import cards - > start cutting

or

b)

ingest card prelude cc multiple drives -> send premiere -> start cutting.

or combination there of? of transcode prores or dnxhd?

my biggest concern avoiding corrupting data card. know prelude has md5 checksum, why use pretty else (not sure if xf utility bit bit comparison). i'm worried spanning mutliple clips issues interview, multi camera shoot long takes (see here -> http://forums.adobe.com/message/5045764#5045764)

any other advice have, or examples of workflow appreciated.

cheers,

d

oh , reference, system is:

2011 15" mbp i7 2.2 ghz

8 gb ram

mountain lion 10.8.5

cc (and cs6 if works better)

or perhaps, workflow using shotput pro?
