iOS/android - how to mute music player sound when playing app sound?


hi,

 

i trying achieve following, in app ios , android devices:

 

my app contains information that, under circumstances, being read user. if user playing music using f.i. ipod, want external sound fade down, read info, fade up. have seen (heard) on apps such runkeeper, voice feedback 'superimposed' on existing media sound, faded down duration of voice feedback.

 

i using adobe air 3.9 sdk, using sound, soundchannel , soundmixer audioplaybackmode set media, voice , ambient.

 

when setting audioplaybackmode voice, background audio stops, yet there no way of restarting without activating ipod , hitting play....

 

any pointers, extensions or other resources, appreciated!

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
