Thread: Having problems installing Libre Office

hullo. had openoffice installed on machine (running ubuntu 12.04), have removed oo, , trying install libre office. however, when attempting so, keep getting error messages saying have unmet dependencies. when open terminal , try

code:
apt-get -f install
i following:

code:
errors encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/libreoffice-common_1%3a3.5.4-0ubuntu1.1_all.deb e: sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned error code (1)
any grateful. thanks.

some questions - 12.04 comes libre office default, did uninstall lo before installing oo, , why did install oo in preference lo?

secondly, source trying re-install lo?
