Problems logging in to AMS on Amazon web services


hi all

 

we've put ams server running centos using ami # ami-ee7259ab west region.

 

we're not able log in machine.

 

we've put following entry ams.ini :

 

server.admin_username = admin

 

we have following entry in users.xml

<user name="${server.admin_username}">

            <allow>our hostname hhere</allow>

            <deny></deny>

            <order>allow,deny</order>            <password>d8f2d3ff51084c748a07cd516bd7fd704c55a90e07f700f92a4e474d9b512db5ed83da4bdf61b50 f</password>

        </user>

 

the password hash in above xml generated using command

./amsadmin -console -user admin

 

and stopped service before changing password, started again.

 

we've opened 1111 world, , specified server.adminserver_hostport = :1111 in ams.ini.

 

still cannot log in. have ideas we've missed?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
