After Effects CC (AERENDER) licensing errors for multiple CORE renders on a SINGLE machine.


i hoping someone  can assist me issue having in after effects cc, or know should reach out to.

 

i use smedge render farm tool. can launch multiple instances (per core of licensed machine) of aerender render project. worked beautifully on cs6, cc breaks. shoots out following error: "after effects error: unable obtain license. please run full application correct problem or more detailed message."  machine licensed me logged in , can run ae cc gui no issue.

 

is there way activate multiple aerender nodes on single licensed machine? have 8-proc machine used able launch 8 instances of aerender on cs6, since a.e.cc, no more.

 

any appreciated has cut render time down drastically.

launching multiple instances of after effects aerender application on 1 computer in way has never been tested or supported workflow. if worked, happy accident.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
