Navigation in ADE 2.0 missing


ade 2.0 has text in top nav: file/library/help.

all  other text shown box icons , unreadable. edit nav (in document) has no working drop-down links.

i have deinstalled , reinstalled ade 2.0 twice more. no change.

i have been able read acsm document when try , see same acsm format in document british library, not load ade.

what error message when try british library .acsm file?

it file associated else's id?

 

you may find old version works better (see below).

there fewer bugs in old version, user interface more non-standard new one.

there lots of bugs in ade2.0 (and 2.0.1).  try replacing ade2.0 older more reliable v1.7.2.

(you can have them both installed @ once if like.)

version 1.7.2, little difficult find, available on adobe site windows , mac.

some people have found ade trying upgrade automatically. 

it appears (not 100% sure) if install ade2.0 new install (not upgrade) 1.7.2 continue run.

probably best no if 2.0.x installation asks if want migrate library.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
