Thread: 12.04 Automatic Screen Lock Not Working

in system settings, when specify want screen lock after 30 seconds (or whichever time specify) nothing happens after 30 seconds, or ever.

way can work if allow screen turned off when inactive in "brightness" settings. if allow screen turn off, never turns on again , have forced restart power button(i have unanswered thread that).

possible solutions? yes, can manually lock screen, that's poor solution because don't remember it, , feature worked fine on previous (pre-unity) versions of ubunutu.

in adavance if can offer help, , nothing if thread goes unanswered last one.

i experiencing same issue minus problem screen not turning on again. in case had disable automatic switch on display due bug ati , compiz.

there way restore automatic lock?
