email attachments and digital signature

i used able open email attachment, review , digitally sign it.

 

since new people came it, digital signature disappears. way restore function? thanks.

we experienced similar problem when adobe updates installed. seems recent adobe update took away capability save digital signature directly pdf email attachment, forward email signed attachment. now, when open pdf email attachment , place digital signature, have entered our password our digital signature, prompted "save as" dialog box asking save document somewhere on hard drive of our computer (the default location documents). if hit cancel, signed version not saved. attachment remains unsigned. learned needed go through save dialog , choose (and remember) location save pdf, such documents or desktop, reply or compose new email , attach signed version had saved in documents/desktop. used able hit save icon in adobe , save our changes (digital signature) to email attachment. having save pdf somewhere other email step we'd prefer avoid, , we'd happy learn of way go our old method. believe key adobe save signed version somewhere in "temp files" on c drive , automatically use version when email forwarded. , think adobe did away that, unless there way revert method using preferences?

 

but wonder if asker of question able click "place signature" , has opportunity "save as," saving pdf on hard drive of computer future attaching? hitting "cancel" in save dialog?

 

if save signed pdf (i.e. in default documents), quicker method having browse saved document in documents is, can click on envelope icon (sharing) @ top of screen. click "attach email" circle , click "attach" button. generate new email in email application (i.e. outlook) signed pdf attached (adobe pulls signed version saved documents). downside generated email not have original email thread or subject line, need add relevant subject line.

 

some of our users reported used share ... attach email feature , signatures wiped email attachment after hit send. however, phenomenon has not been witnessed since recent adobe software update.
