Lasso tools; What are they and how do you use them?


can point me in right direction here?  best source in order learn how use lasso tools in pse-12?  have great photo of new grandson , want eliminate background.  told can done using lasso tool , extract foreground image defined lasso , drop  blank background.  how do it?

plenty of info on lasso @ http://tv.adobe.com/videos/lasso/. while none pse, illustrator , cs videos same tool in pse.

 

there many ways eliminate backgrounds. easier select background foreground. can invert selection. if posted image of grandson (feel free blur him if have privacy concerns) there might easier ways can suggest lasso.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
