Is it possible to specify a FolderItem to import footage into?


hi, viewing

i'm writing script imports footage folders; keeping hierarchy source's root folder. i've been able create folders , name them accordingly, can't see way of using importoptions import new files specific folder. can import them loose files project.

is there way specify folderitem import footage into?

it's 1 more step move folder of choice:

 

myfootage.parentfolder = yourfolder;

 

is there reason want avoid doing way?

(1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
