Thread: Server 12.04 32 bit install fails


i've downloaded iso twice, tried copying usb drive 5 times (first recommended tool windows, must absolutely awful tool use, , unetbootin rest). i've compared md5 of download listed somewhere (was wiki?) , match.

every time install process fails. when try verify integrity, fails every time (on different copies made) on:
./pool/main/l/linux/fs-secondary-modules-3.2.0-23-generic-paw-di_3.2.0-23.36_i386.udeb

nice.

please give complete hardware description.

also, have tried desktop iso in live boot?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
