XDCAM w/ CUDA - crashes/slow performance

so sayeth release notes: https://blogs.adobe.com/movingcolors/2013/10/31/speedgrade-cc-7-1-update/

"using xdcam media on windows nvidia cuda acceleration can lead slow performance or stalling application in direct link mode"

i have xdcam hd project i'm working on. direct link allows me footage etc sg @ last without dpx round-trip, hitting play instant crash, , can click individual frame on timeline 3-5 times before app entirely hangs , crashes. consistent , reproducible, no matter settings use.

there not appear (unlike every other adobe product) way disable gpu acceleration. missing something?

i've got beefy enough box work without cuda involved (i7-2600k, 8 threads @ ~5ghz, 16gb ram etc) , might usable then. when playing graded footage (after no less 30 "open sg, open project, click frame, grade (and grading changes instant , fast), save, next frame, whoops - crash, force close, restart" cycles) in premiere, well. likewise ame works fine, using cuda, rendering 2 hour project h.264 review bitc in 1h30m grading application being done on fly.

quite frustrating least, (and has been time) unusable product. davinci resolve now!

hi,

we aware of problem , working on fix. please stay tuned.
