AVI masking as UNDF


 

while running techsmith snagit video mode computer screen change hundreds of colored lines , squares. that's short story takes me anomoly.

i connect sony camcorder's firewire computer. premiere pro opens. run capture. did on several films working on. ended around 8 films; total 54gb. because of computer's unpreditacle screen behavior took films computer work on. half films attempted import premiere pro on alternate computer hung. premiere pro 3, unresponsive.


then attempted play films test playability on vlc player. got error the audio or video format undf. half films did play in vlc, other half didn't. may have discard project , start fresh.

 

i did replace video card in hp xw8400 workstation today - , snagit works, applications work. must suspect culprit may replaced video card.

is possible nvidia fx 1300 caused failed upload? @ work use xw8400s unexpected.

the files titled have avi extensions. half undf - cryptic message generated vlc.

i write here because cannot find useful information happened during upload/capture compromised videos. insights!

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
