Thread: Cardapio menu + Cairo dock "main menu" -problems.


first of all, use cairo's own "main menu"-launcher, buggy, opens correct, other times opens incorrectly , there appears scrollbars @ top , bottom.

solution me using cardapio-menu. have installed following method:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cardapio-team/unstable  sudo apt-get update  sudo apt-get install cardapio cardapio-gnomeshell
but not launch. icon there, when clicked jumps (like supposed to), nothing else happens.

information here, none of them concern cairo dock --> https://launchpad.net/cardapio

great ideas?


edit: launches when type "cardapio" terminal, starts slowly.

i have installed following packages:
blt
cardapio-gnomepanel
python-keybinder
python-tk
tk8.5

somewhere said working depends on gnome-things, , not know ones.

ideas @ all?

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
