Thread: Are computers better at generating random numbers than humans?

by humans, mean without aid of dice, hats, etc...purely thought alone.

also, true 1,2,3,4,5 selected first fifty integers "less random" 5, 8, 22, 30, 49? why?

computers terrible @ generating random numbers. use pseudo random number generation.

hence why serious uses of random numbers use environment generate them.

second question. numbers not helpful in deciding. important method used. if pick 5 numbers uniformly @ random subset of 5 numbers equally other.

if talking passwords, 1,2,3,4,5 not bad being "less random" because more humans pick them, not because bad @ thinking of random numbers, because more think not on random numbers on numbers easier them remember.
