Conflict between flash player &windows 8.1


i downloaded windows 8.1.  when trying play videos, receive message update adobe flash player.  when try update response is part of windows 8.1.  how can fix this?

flash player windows 8 , 8.1 embedded microsoft. updates through windows update only.
a lot of websites have trouble recognizing ie11(part of win 8.1) , plugins in it. recommneded workaround enable compatibility view websites until microsoft releases update fix it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
