Computer Question


hi all,

 

i'm looking buy new computer - 1 last me years come.  need recommendations on computer manufacturer best editing photographs (raw), , maybe video editing , graphics work.  maybe cpu , graphics card work best kind of work or other components should have new computer.

 

thank much.

as choice come down type of user are, , how want spend.  if want computer many used dell workstations.

 

basic computer should have min. 8 gig of ram, 2 internal hard drives, or 1 large ssd, mid range video card 1 gig vram, decent monitor.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
