After Effects CC no sound. [Mac]


i have problem after effects , have tried looking couldn't find right 1 made discussion. want start making mix of various clips can't seem hear sound @ all. have 8gb of ram, 2.9 ghz intel core i7, , macbookpro running mountian lion. mp3s , mp4s have so-called 'soundwaves' , adobe reading them there still no sound. did notice 'preview thing' (i don't know official name) claims work keybinds different 'windows 7/8.' if problem not previewing sound please kindly tell me keybinds macintosh. bonus tell me keybind add marker because know says ^8 if nothing happens. if hold shift press ^8 or number if come marker number corresponding number press. don't think thats correct though. please me these problems, thanks.

 

p.s. have numberpad on me mouse.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
