Acrobat Pro XI Uninstalled Itself!


folks,

 

i'm interested know if else has had happen.

 

about 10 days ago acrobat pro xi installed on laptop @ work.  yesterday entire app disappeared computer mid-day.

 

yup, disappeared, if had purposely uninstalled it!  gone!  not listed installed program in control panel - programs.  of directories , files in program files directory on c: drive gone.  thing left of destop shortcut, blank (no adobe icon) , text under blank icon remained.

 

i did quick google search on "acrobat uninstalls itself" , did find many hits indicated others have had acrobat products uninstall themsleves.

 

but wanted come source , ask:

 

how many of have had acrobat pro xi, or acrobat product, mysteriously uninstall itself?

 

thanks.

this happening me well. acrobat.exe disappearing program files; else still present. acrobat being installed group policy can't figure out problem.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
