Thread: Printer Driver - How do I change in 12.04


i running 12.04 on laptop , old computer running hardy used printer, scanner , media server.

before upgrading 12.04 network printing fine, states missing filter. scanning on same device fine not printing.

how on earth alter driver properties show incorrect model cannot fathom how change it.

using system add/remove printers finds printer doesn't give option @ configuration.

pointers appreciated.

checking further appears hardy server system 1 showing incorrect driver, incorrect or not i've been printing happily few years i'll have resolve somehow there seems little option configure on latest ubuntu.

meanwhile old livecd prints fine.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
