Thread: The disk drive for /tmp is not ready


my ubuntu 12.04 64-bit keeps crashing on boot. replaced hard-disk brand new one.
on startup shows :
code:
errors found while checking disk drive /.  press f attempt fix errors, ignore, s skip mountingm or m manual recovery.
on pressing f, shows :
code:
the disk drive /tmp not ready
and goes printing list of stuff onscreen.

reinstalled 12.04 on new hard-drive, yet still happens.
idea should changed or set ?

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
