Thread: Creating a bootable 12.04 usb for MacBook 2,1


hi,

after searching site particular problem, apart googling on web, i'm still stuck. i'm looking straight forward install, as possible, maybe handful of manual steps @ most. using unetbootin says created usb works on pcs not macs. using startup disk creator, can't select usb booted from.

@ wiki pages, find entries until 10.10 macbook 2,1. mean i'm looking isn't possible?

hi reggiehg. first of all, "apple" answer : can't boot legacy os external devices (read osx)

answer : it's possible mix of refit, grub aver many command line (this how successful installed precise external cd because internal superdrive broke)

maybe it's possible boot usb same thing changing line of code.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
