Thread: Backup and Restore GNOME Panel 2.32

i thought sure simple google task. alas here thinking question simple post asking anyhow.

find settings gnome panels have created. have gnome panel 2.32.1 both window list 2.32.1 ,
workspace switcher 2.32.1 on , i'd delete moment put later if don't of changes i'm getting ready make.

thanks.

okaly dokaly. no resolution can sure of yet work-around now. went properties on 2 gnome panels , checked box said "show hide buttons" , made sure "arrows on hide buttons" left unchecked.

so, @ least these things out of way. still backup individual settings , rid of them in way allow me re-enable them @ later time if i'd like.

studied thread led me to answer.

code:
sudo mv /usr/bin/gnome-panel ~/.panel_backup
it's not answer i'm looking i'll dive later if don't find better answer in meantime.

hoping for, way backup individual gnome panels can rid of 1 , 'not' other. in case have 3 panels , want selectively rid of 2 of them.

can shed little light on this.
