I installed Windows 8.1 and now cant get Flask Player to download - WhY?


i having trouble updating latest version of flask player.  began after installed windows 8.1 yesterday.  have followed adobe install steps, , says have wiindows 8.0 installed on explorer tells me in section don't have installed on computer(?). though adobe not recognize 8.1 yet/

partly right. site (like great many - facebook , yahoo name two) isn't recongizing win 8.1 oe ie11.

microsoft recommends enabling compatibility view sites have troubles ie11 in win 8 or 8.1:

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
